Product Description
Camera Link SDR To SDR Cable For Machine Vision, Camera Link Machine Vision Cable Assembly, SDR26 male plug to SDR26 male plug. Industrial cameras with Camera Link interface Camera Link was developed for high-speed industrial camera applications. In the late 20 century, the National Semiconductor Laboratory developed the Channel Link (C-Link for short) chipset. The interface of the chip increases the transmission speed from 250Mbit/s to 6.4Gbit/s while maintaining the original cost. Promoted by the American Automation Industry Association (AIA) in 2000, Channel Link has gradually become the industry standard for scientific and industrial machine vision products, including cameras, cables, and frame grabbers. It has been called Camera Link since then. Camera Link is the 4-channel chipset Channel Link version, using a transmission speed of 2.38Gbit/s. If three more chipsets are placed in parallel, the maximum data transmission speed can exceed 7Gbit/s. With such fast data interfaces, industrial cameras are driven to higher resolutions and higher frame rates. The Camera Link interface has a big size MDR and a small size SRD (SDR also called HDR-mini). Both pin definitions are the same, just the size is different. SDR was originally developed for use in industrial automation.
