MDR Connector Details

The Mini Delta Ribbon (MDR) series of connectors provides a compact arrangement of durable sliding 'ribbon' contacts. The high contact density and good performance at high speeds have yielded many applications for this connector type. These are 'half-pitch' connectors, meaning that the contact spacing is tighter than full-size Centronics connectors, such as those used on our BRKDC36F or BRKDC50F breakout boards. The 'half-pitch' connectors utilize contacts on 0.05" centers.

General Description

Use these cables to interconnect equipment which utilizes 50-pin MDR (Mini Delta Ribbon) connectors. These attractive cables feature 50-pin MDR Male connectors on each end, over-molded ends, twisted pair wiring, and a shielded cable jacket. Latches secure the cable to the mating connector. Two cable lengths (3 feet and 6 feet) are available. These cables are general purpose and are compatible with 50-pin Mini D-Ribbon breakout boards.
