"I like how this USB-C hub is designed. It's not as huge as the other hubs on the market but at the same time has many ports for everyday needs. I'm using this hub with my MacBook Pro which has only 4 USB-C ports. "This is the perfect Port extender/docking solution for my HP Envy Laptop. It comes with the following ports:

1 HDMI port that supports an extended display from my laptop. With the laptop HDMI port, I can now support 3 monitors including my laptop monitor all running in extended desktop mode. I love having 3 monitors!! I connected this HDMI port to my 4K TV and verified that it does support the 4K resolution. While I don't need 4K, it's good to know it is available if needed.

3 - USB 3.0 High-speed ports. Perfect for plugging in high-speed peripherals such as external backup hard drives or SSDs, USB flash drives, etc. I verified all of these work for the various USB storage devices I have including USB flash drives and my passport USB 1 TB external backup drive.

1 SD card port and 1 micro SD card port - This is perfect for easy transfer of video and pictures from your camera, phone, etc. In addition, the storage capacity of SD and micro SD devices has become so large that they can easily be considered for offline or backup storage that simply is plugged into the hub. 256 GB - 500 GB microSD cards are available for reasonable prices and are a great backup alternative to external HD's.

USB-C powered port - This is a port that pairs the hub with a high-power USB-C power adapter to power the laptop you are plugged into. This provides a true docking solution that provides charging power as well as all the external connections with a single USB-C connection to the laptop. Unfortunately, this doesn't work with My HP Envy nor any HP computer from what I understand as HP doesn't support this.

Summary: This is the perfect USB-C docking/port replicator hub I needed for my laptop computer providing the additional HDMI monitor connection I needed as well as my other peripherals. I would recommend it without hesitation."
