STC 3.5mm stereo y-splitter cable allows you to easily connect your stereo headset & Mic to a PC audio port and mic port at the same time, enabling you to add a mono microphone input, as well as a stereo output to your PC or Laptop, through a single 3.5mm audio port.
Innovative Audio Ports
While some laptops like Dell feature only a single (4-position) 3.5mm audio port to support both audio input and output, this innovative headset splitter adapter breaks the audio port out into two distinct ports – one that can be used for a microphone input connection, and the other for connecting external (output) speakers.
“I was needing an adapter that would allow me to use my Turtle Beach XO Seven Xbox One headset with my PC and this product is exactly what I was looking for. I just plugged in the male end of headset into the female end of this adapter and then plugged the two male ends of the adapter into the microphone and speaker jacks on the back of the PC and that’s all it took. Saved me the money of having to buy another gaming headset. The quality of this adapter looks very good as well. Very pleased with this product!”
“My original review was a one star because what we received was unusable. Was ready to cut my loses when the company immediately sent a replacement at no extra cost to us. It works!….perfectly. Very satisfied with the product and the company’s quick response to make good on a bad unit.”
“I have wired headphones that I like to use for multiple purposes, including gaming. In addition, I also have a great, but inexpensive lavaliere microphone that I can clip to my shirt. I mostly game on my Xbox One S, but I don’t own a gaming headset – ya know, the headphones with a mic already attached to it. Well, if you are poor like me, and you want an easy and inexpensive way to have a gaming headset, then get this cable. This cable plugs into your controller, then you can have a mic plugged in the mic port, and any wired headphones of your choice plugged into the headphone port. Lavaliere mics on Amazon are around $5 – $10, and wired headphones can be inexpensive as well. The point is, you can literally use any type of headphone and mic you want with this cable, which is convenient if you don’t want to succumb to gaming headsets, or simply can’t afford them, or already have a nice pair of headphones lying around that you can use…just get a mic and this cable! . Aside from the Xbox controller, whether you are gaming, streaming, making videos, etc., this cable gives you options.
How it works:
“Great cable for my Hyperx Cloud Revolver headset. I needed this cable to use the headset’s full cable with my Playstation 4. The Headset is designed to work with Xbox or PC so it has a split, dual-jack system one 3.5 mm for each the audio in and out (headphones and microphone), you can use half the cable by disconnecting the portion that comes from the headset and goes to the in-line sound card from the sound card / control unit, and use the 4 pole jack directly in your PS4 controller port, however then you lose the functionality of the sound card which allows you volume control and mic mute options. So, I bought this cable to use the full headset cable including the sound card/control unit, and still be able to connect the setup to my PS4 controller.”
