"I purchased this adapter to use with the 12' MacBook. It works as expected. When I first connected it, there was no internet connection. I, then, restarted my MacBook and there was an internet connection. Plug and Play. No drivers to download. Perfect for any non technical person.
This makes those big downloads faster when you hardwire to the router or switch.

"This adapter works great with my Asus Zenbook laptop. No issues with connectivity and speed tests show full speed over the ethernet to UBS C conversion. The adapter is compact and the USB C plug is small enough to fit between the micro HDMI port and a USB A port on either side - no issues. It does get warm, but nothing alarming. There is a green connection indicator LED as well as a green activity LED indicator. Device is plug and play in Windows 10 with no drivers to install.
Build quality feels on par with the cost of the item. There's no reason to overspend on a "name brand" as this one works great."

"I dont normally write reviews, but I figured why not? This USB-C Ethernet worked flawlessly with my dell inspiron. I just plugged it in and within seconds the proper driver was found and the device was usable nearly instantly with windows 10. Upon doing speed test while using this wired i did not experience any hiccups. You can simply plug and unplug at any time and receive zero errors. I chose USB-C over regular USB since USB devices are known to be resource hogs, and also because USB-C has faster transmission rates that USB 3.0. I would highly recommend this to anyone needing a ethernet adapter thats price friendly and works really well, also if your laptop has USB-C."

"I ordered this product when I ordered the new MacBook Pro with USB C. I think there is very little that can be done to make a USB C to ethernet adapter "special," but this one is an excellent product. It has a simple, compact, design - and the black looks great with the space gray of the laptop. I compared this to an Apple brand model and the speed was the same. I have no complaints and am satisfied with my purchase. Please note, however, that with some USB C devices a driver may need to be downloaded in order to use the product.
