2> USB 3.1 requires a different front panel header than USB 3.0. The USB 3.1 port interface is using the USB 3.0 pin set and more. It is designed to be backward compatible (will explain later).
3> There are no official release of the specs for the USB 3.1 header yet (as of this writing), But the first motherboard with this is the ASUS ROG MAXIMUS IX FORMULA, STRIX Z270I/Z270G, etc.

Operation steps:1> Find the type E female seat in your chassis and insert the type e male of the cable (pay attention to the insertion direction of type E). 2> Screw the blank with the type C female seat. 3> Remove a barrier at the front or rear panel of the chassis, install the assembled type C baffle, and find the screw suitable for the screw hole of the chassis for fixation. 4> Refer to the figure above for assembly.
Type E Female interfaceIt applies to equipment with a type C public interface and supports data transmission, listening to music, and charging
Type E Male interfaceOnly applicable to type E (A-key) female seats. Please pay attention to the plug type before use!
