"This cable was priced cheaply at about $6 and it did everything I wanted it to do. I used it to connect a 2013 macbook air to an hdmi cable into my tv and it worked perfectly. The picture quality is very good. It looked just like the picture on my laptop. There was no sound at first, but after adjusting the settings on my laptop I was able to hear sound through my tv. Lastly, the seller, Taimeide, provides a two year warranty. Not bad for $6."

"I needed an adapter for my NVIDIA GeForce GTX 580 video card. This worked perfectly with a minor issue with regard to Mini-port connector. I have found this to be the case on different types of adapters, there is not enough room at the port between the card and the case to insert the adapter. If you are comfortable trimming the side of this adapter that goes into the Mini-port and hits the case, the fix is easy...trim the excess off the one side of this adapter. That solves the problem and doesn't affect the adapters performance. This may not be an issue with all cases but for me it was."

Had to update display driver to get the audio to work on TV also. Adjust the text to display properly on the TV in windows settings. Very economical solution."
