MDR 100 pin male to male HPCN SCSI cable with metal shell Cable

Overview

Product Description

SCSI 100 Pin MDR Male HPCN Solder Plug Connector cable with metal shell assembly.

100Pin MDR straight SCSI external hard drive cable assembly, SCSI cables are the standard for small computer system interface and are mainly used for high-speed bus connections between small computers and intelligent peripherals such as printers, hard disks, and CD ROM drives, they transmit high-speed and mission-critical data integrity associated with SCSI applications.

1> Wired straight through for extending serial devices/peripherals.

2> Gold-plated contacts provide reliable connections with repeated mating cycles.

3> We could according to the customers' design specs make wire harnesses.

MDR Connector Details

The Mini Delta Ribbon (MDR) series of connectors provides a compact arrangement of durable sliding 'ribbon' contacts. The high contact density and good performance at high speeds have yielded many applications for this connector type. These are 'half-pitch' connectors, meaning that the contact spacing is tighter than full-size Centronics connectors, The 'half-pitch' connectors utilize contacts on 0.05" centers.

General Description

Use these cables to interconnect equipment that utilizes 100-pin MDR (Mini Delta Ribbon) connectors. These attractive cables feature 100-pin MDR Male connectors on each end, metal shell ends with strain reliefs, twisted pair wiring, and a shielded cable jacket. Latches secure the cable to the mating connector. Two cable lengths (1/3/5 meters or customized) are available.

The connector used on this product goes by several different names, including Mini D Ribbon, Mini Delta Ribbon, MDR, Mini Centronics, Half-Pitch Centronics, HPCN, HPCN100, Half-Pitch CN, and Micro Centronics. It is also occasionally referred to as a SCSI 2 connector, though that is not typically a proper use of the term. Sometimes these 100-pin MDR connectors are called Mini 100 or SCSI-III connectors. However, be aware that there is some confusion in the terms commonly used. The manufacturer and model of the connector on these breakout boards are listed below, making it possible to carefully compare the connector on your application to the connector used on these breakout boards.
