Cat6 Ethernet Cable

Applications:

  • High-Performance Cat6, 24 AWG, RJ45 Ethernet Patch Cable provides universal connectivity for LAN network components such as PCs, computer servers, printers, routers, switch boxes, network media players, NAS, VoIP phones, PoE devices, and more.
  • Cat6 performance at a Cat5e price but with higher bandwidth; Future-proof your network for 10-Gigabit Ethernet (backward compatible with any existing Fast Ethernet and Gigabit Ethernet); Meets or exceeds Category 6 performance in compliance with the TIA/EIA 568-C.2 standard
  • A Category 6 Ethernet patch cable is also referred to as a Cat6 network cable, Cat6 cable, Cat6 Ethernet cable, or Cat 6 data/LAN cable. A wired Cat 6 network is more reliable and secure than a wireless network for your internet connections

Other patch cables that are made of CCA (copper clad aluminum wire), are prone to data loss and slow speed

High-Quality Materials

All of our cables use Gold-plated RJ-45 connectors as well as pure copper wiring to increase connectivity quality and to prevent corrosion. Our cables only use the best materials to ensure a top-notch connection for years to come.

Fast Transfer Speed

With lightning-fast speeds of up to 10GB per second, our booted ethernet cables provide reliable, efficient data transfer for server applications, cloud storage, video streaming and more. InstallerParts patch cables support up to 550MHz

Flexible & Durable

All STC patch cables are encased in a durable PVC jacket for maximum protection and flexibility. The PVC coating protects the cable against water, dust, and other contaminants to prevent network connectivity errors and keep your devices running smoothly.

Customer Question & Answers

Question:is this cable rated for in wall installation?

Answer: If you look at the specifications you see that it says "Cable Structure: Stranded". What you want for in wall installation is Cable Structure: Solid. That being said, if it is just for your home, you could get away with using this cable in the wall. It just isn't recommended to be used for that application. If it is for a business, this would go against cabling standards. Stranded cable is more disposable that solid, so it won't last as long. The way solid works is that you attach it to ethernet jacks at either end in the wall, then plug a stranded cable in at either end. This prevents the cable in the wall from accidentally being pulled on, which could damage the cable

Question: Can I run this cable on the outside of my house?

Answer: Ran through PVC conduit it should be fine and as long as the ends are protected from the weather also.

Question: Which TIA wiring standard? T568A or T568B?

Answer: T568B.

Question: Is this cable suitable for 4mp surveillance camera?

Answer: If the camera is connected with Ethernet cable, then any CAT^ cable is OK.

Customer Feedback

"We thought wifi was where it's at, but my 13 year old son vehemently disagrees. Apparently his computer games have "wifi lag" and he needed to be hardwired in order to play at his fullest potential. Blah blah blah, we gave the kid what he wanted because he is a great child who sincerely thinks milliseconds matter. He is very happy and so we are too. We ran this from our main floor modem, upstairs to his room, into an old router and used two short ethernet cords out to my son's PS4 and his gaming desk computer. He is very happy and we found the cord works well. It was very much beneficial to get the wifi hog (my kid) wired up, lol. I got the Cat6 instead of 5, because although my research shows little to no difference today, I didn't want to have to upgrade in another 18 months because my kid outgrew the previous version. Very pleased."

"I have always had very good results with cable matters cat6 cables. I bought this 50 footer to run from my computer room to my entertainment room. It's connected to my Comcast business cable modem and is hooked up to a Linksys SE3008 8 port switch. From there I have it connected to a Sony Blu ray player, Dish satellite hopper 3 w/sling, WD TV HDMI box, QNAP TS-853A NAS 8 bay, XBox 360, Yamaha AV Receiver RX-A720, laptop pc, some of the HDMI Inputs go through a 5 port auto HDMI Switch. I also use Netflix through the tv and Amazon Prime TV through the Blu ray player. My speeds are on an average of 48-75 mbps everything plays very smooth with no skipping or stopping to buffer. I also switched all my cables in my computer room to cable matters cat6. 3 computers, 1-2 bay NAS, 4 printers and one Linksys SE-3008 8 port switch."

"We ordered this cable because the router was in one room and I, with my wireless laptop, was in another. The speed I was getting was nowhere near the amount I should have been getting. In order to get my speed to where it was supposed to be, we had to move the router to the room I was in. Therefore, we needed to run a long patch cable and between the modem and the room I was in. It has made all the difference in the speed I now get!
We have now had this cable for just over a year and its performance has never faded. This is a great cable. It is very sturdy and reliable! In fact, I'm in the market for another cable and will be ordering this kind/brand again! Just in a smaller size this time.
I can highly recommend this product. It's worth it!

"Love these cables. They are of good strength and quality and I really love the tab releases on the ends, way better then the boots that cover the tab completey. Tested all five for gigabit speeds and my Intel & Realtek NIC's all got 5 Gbit speeds in cross-talk and over lan. These cables are rated for 10 Gbit but I currently don't know of any routers or switches that have ports above 1 Gbit speeds, the only exception being NIC's themselves."

"This has made a noticeable difference in my internet quality, not just the plug in to my computer, but the wifi also seems to have a slight increase. My modem is about 30 feet from the wifi router, so this cable really made the difference with the bit of distance. For anyone with high-speed internet, this cable is perfect to make that stretch from one point to another without creating resistance and loosing speed in your connection."
