"These adapters are high quality and work great. Much smaller than I thought which is an advantage. I have several Samsung TVs that have the HDMI ports on the left side. With the HDMI cable in place, the cable would stick out the side of the TV and it stressed the cable as it was pulled back to the cable box. These small right angle adapters fixed the problem. With the adapters in place, the cable is now out of sight and the cable is no longer bent or stressed. Also, I don't know if my eyes are playing tricks on me, but the TV picture now looks clearer and more vivid. It may have been from the stress on the HDMI port. These 90 degree right angle adapters worked so well, I ordered 4 more for the rest of my Samsung TVs."
"Worked perfectly. I have a very flat-mounted TV on the wall and plugging in a normal straight cable was not really an option without bending the cable and already have one of the cables broken. These adapters fit the cable and worked perfectly -- the tv sits flat and the cable has no stress on it at all."
"Bought these after I bought the 90-degree ones not realizing that they would work. Glad these do. Why can't TV manufacturers just throw one or two of these in the box or have the connections on the back this way to begin with. Most TVs almost require these adapters unless you have a very flexible HDMI cable or just don't care about a cable sticking out of the side or you monitor. Since this is not the case I'm glad we can buy these to fix a product designer's or engineer's missing common sense."
"These worked great on the two side HDMI ports on my TV, now the cables go straight back instead of sticking out sideways where you can see them. This would also be just the thing for those real close-fitting wall mounts, so you can still use the rear ports. Be sure to buy the right ones though. Look at which way you need to bend relative to the shape of the HDMI plug. They sell 90s and 270s, which are opposite each other. Just look real close at the product pics and you can tell which will work for you. They also have rights and lefts, if a flat bend is what you need. Same warning and instructions applies."
"This adapter works as it should. Pros: High Quality Feel Slim Profile Cons: N/A This product has a great feel to it and has a very slim profile. The product feels well made and the connection points has no play whatsoever. The slim profile is perfect for TV setups with little working room and TVs which has its connection inputs in close proximity of each other. Bottom Line: Item is exactly as described. I do caution that when purchasing be choose the correct angle (90° and 270°). Look the HDMI inputs on the back of your TV or other device and double check you are getting the correct angle you require for the setup you desire."
